The blind woman jumped in fright as what she assumed where 2 zombies walked after her. She had been so caught up in her own thoughts she had forgotten to concertrate, and when you are blind, alone, and in a dangerous world, it is something that you must never do. Spinning around, the young german woman could sense them but her blind eyes, hidden behind her dark sunglasses couldnt make anything out. Her long black hair hung down her back and she was dressed in her usual jeans and baggy jersey. The draconah woman could feel tehm closing her in and she went for her daggers knowing they would be hardly any use against them. She felt the wind change and leapt quickly to one side, narrowly avoiding the teeth and claws on a zombie. Her heart rate quickened as she tryed to stay away from them, knowing it was only a matter of time. She held out one dagger, slashing it in front of her, hitting in the face and hearing it howl back. She moved to the side and slashed it again, having to think about where it would be.

Ezra was untangling the rabbit that he had just snared, it wasn't very big, and as he surveyed it with dissatisfaction he heard a howl of pain, almost human like in nature, but oddly twisted. Dropping the rabbit, Ezra stood with a frown, listening hard for what direction the noise had come from. The howl could mean one of two things. One: A couple of Zombies had gotten into a scrap and were fighting or two: The Zombies had found some prey and that prey happened to be fighting back. The second one was the most likely, and the most unwelcoming. Whatever the case he had to check it out. He couldn't leave someone around to be turned into Zombie food and if they were just fighting they would be easier to pick off and picking off a couple more Zombies when he could, even if it didn't thin down their ranks dramatically, it would be a few less Zombies in the world. Jogging towards where he heard the sound he found the blind woman from the last meeting being attacked on all sides. More Zombies were appearing from the forest, drawn like he was to the noise. Grabbing a throwing star from his pocket he flung it at a Zombie coming up behind the woman, the star catching the Zombie in the throat. Quickly he threw another throwing star at the Zombie that charged at him. Swearing as it fell just in front of his feet. Killing a third Zombie that was heading for the other draconoh, Ezra moved quickly over to the woman. "It's me, Ezra, from the meeting. We need to get out of here before more come. Are you hurt?"

She heard the footfalls coming towards her from deeper in the forest, heard the crys of zombies as they fell, felt one lay on her foot before she yanked it away from the carcass. She spun around as someone came up behind her, her dagger out in front of her, a hiss filling the air. She was about to lash out when she heard the name, one that sounded oddly familiar, the voice too. "Ezra? Oh you.... You didnt have to help me. I could have done it myself." The daggers were still in front of her, Catya not trusting him. She hadnt found out anything else at the meeting about him and anyone could fake a voice, though maybe not quite that good. Frowning she coulndt see anything but narrowly avoided tripping over a dead zombie as she started to move backwards. "And Im fine."

He shook his head, yanking the throwing stars out of the Zombies. "I'm sure you're fine, and I'm sure you could of handled those three by yourself, but listen." He paused, giving her a chance to do so, giving her a chance to hear the faint hows and cracking of undergrowth. "There are more coming, quite a lot by the sound of it, they'll be drawn here like the scavengers they are. We have to go, and I'm not leaving you here." Wiping the stars of on his pants he tucked them away again, looking at her in concern, worried that her stubbornness would get her killed.

She looked in his general direction but of course didnt see anything, her not even knowing what colours or shapes were. She kept her daggers out and walked in his direction, having already heard the howls and crunching of forest underfoot. "Since when do you care?" She murmered. "Oh and I already know, someone who is blind can hear a lot better than you." She waited by him, her words not as sharp as they could be. This was the man that she had wanted to befriend at the meeting and though he now annoyed her she wasnt going to push him away.

"I am not about to let anyone become Zombie food." He muttered, setting off grimly in the direction he had left his rabbit, he was not missing out on a meal, however scrawny. Trusting her to be able to follow him, he kept an eye out for her none the less, and an ear out for the approaching Zombies. Reaching where he had caught the rabbit he scooped it off from the ground and continued jogging away. "Did they touch you at all? And I still don't know your name. Am I allowed to ask for it?"

She followed him, keeping up through the undergrowth with a small jog. Her foot caught slightly but she readied herself and kept going. "No and of course you dont know it, you were rude and obviously didnt give a shit when I came upto you at the meeting." SHe stopped at he did to pick up what she assumed was a rabbit and then kept jogging. "Its Catya. Dont think I trust you in anyway because I tld you."

"I don't expect you to." He grumbled, silently holding a branch aside so that it didn't hit her as it bounced back into place. He didn't make a show about it, knowing that she wouldn't like being reminded that she was blind. "And I'm sorry about being rude, I'm not good in large groups, I prefer being alone." He sighed heavily, stoping in his tracks so that he could listen, checking for Zombie pursuers.

She stopped as he did, able to easily pick up his footfalls, or the lack of them, in the dense undergrowth. She pushed her hair back from her face but kept her weapons in her hands, not letting her guard down around this man. "I completely understand." She puased and could hear the faint growls and snuffles of the zombies behind them. "Look.... thanks but I have to go."

He glanced over at her with a frown, "Actually I think it would be best if you came with me. Your choice of course but I would prefer it." A loud crack sounded from behind him, making Ezra freeze, nothing, at least that he could tell. "At the very least let's keep going."

She frowned but kept walking, feeling him jump beside her. She had too gotten a fright but hadnt reacted, at least on the outside. Being blind she was used to hearing noises and not know what they were. She just kept walking, slowly, dipping under branches she could sense in her way. She missed one however and it stratched her cheek, causing it to bleed slightly. "We should just keep walking, they'll give up shortly."

He frowned as she got scratched, pulling her to a stop quickly. "Hold up, that needs to be covered right away." He didn't want anything Zombie so much as brushing the small scratch. That was all it took to become infected. Grabbing a small first aid kit from his pocket, Ezra pulled out some gauze and strapped it quickly but gently to her cheek. It was rough, but it would stop her getting infected. "I don't think they'll give up. Those bastards seem to be getting smarter. We need to hide somewhere. I have a place, it's very well hidden, or if you feel more comfortable somewhere else....?"

She flinched as he touched her but didnt move away, realising the logic behind his motives. Brushing teh hair away from her face she nodded. "They have been for sometime though we are still much smarter." His offer of a place to stay was all well but she wasnt sure she could trust him however she didnt have a place of her own. He hadnt however teased her once about her eyesight even though she was sure he had noticed. Fighting him on the other hand was much better than fighting a heap of already pissed off zombies. Nodding she walked forward again. "Well.... Ok, its better than here."

Ezra sighed in relief, touching her arm slightly to indicate the direction he was heading. "This way." He jogged quickly, all his senses straining for any sign of the Zombies. He glanced back at her and shook his head in amazement. "I can hardly believe that you are blind." He told her, shaking his head in admiration, "You move as if you can see."

She took hold of his arm as he directed her so he could steer her while they jogged. She too shook her head. "Yeah well it took years of training and I often get sevre headaches from all the concertrating." One of her feet caught and she almost went spralwing before she caught herself using his arm as support. "Really the only thing that helps is that Im part, or mostly, animal. Others, humans, would struggle more than I do." Even as she spoke, her ears were straining to hear where her feet were landing, every sense in her trying to locate what could possibly be in front of her.
