The moon was a waning sliver, high in the sky, mostly obscured by dark clouds, heavy with the rain that was soon to come. The dull thundering of The Falls could be heard roaring not to far away, the wind breezing through the open grassy area before rising above the trees on the other side of the river. The water was running at a crawl, such a pace that was common in this corner of the river, the soft rushing of water adding to the sound of the wild, somehow managing to make the night quieter. Tonight was the night of the meeting, no one was certain who arranged it, who set the time and the place, all anyone knew was that by the time the meeting came around everyone knew where and when it was being held.
Ezrahtormal Devionstrac looked around warily as he came out from the tree line, standing there for a space of time before he walked over to the river. Standing in the shadow of a huge boulder he waited for someone else to appear, his eyes dark with hatred and anger.

The night was quiet, the animals preparing for the coming shower by retreating into their homes. The strong beat of wings resounded in the air, and soon, two shapes became visible in the moonlight, washed silver as they approached. They stuck low to the trees, barely visible, though their forms slowly cleared to be a pair of Harpies making their way to the small clearing at the Corner of the river. One, the male, held the smaller one in his arms, and the reason soon became clear as her wings hit the light, their half-healed skin and feathers still obviously no healed enough for flight. A sharp wingbeat, and the male slowly descended, righting himself before h landed to encompass his cargo. Dropping a kiss to her forehead, then her lips, he let her stand, but kept one arm around her shoulders as he glanced around, only spotting one other person there so far. Sabin and Diova were early, though early was better than late.
Quietly, but quickly, a slim woman moved through the trees, her destination within her sight. The silver beads in her violently red hair clicked lightly, the only sound she made as she slipped through them, adept at not making a sound. The clicking was almost inaudible, and as she glanced around with rich emerald eyes, the gold piercings on her chekbone and ear were visible, as well as the curling red tattoo that spread across her colarbone, bare to the world as it was in her tank top, with a leather jacked undone overtop.emerging from the forest to the small clearing just as a pair of Harpies landed, Temeraire Dragonseeker glanced around, looking for any familiar faces. There was only one other person there as yet, and she didn't reconise him, his dark hair allowing him to melt into the shadows and not letting her get a very good look anyway. With a sigh, she walked over to where some large, fla rocks lay, still warm with the heat from the recently decended sun. She sat, letting the warmth soak to her skin through her jeans.
Slowing from his light jog, blonde hair sticking up in every possible direction, Raphael Zeeman glanced around as he came off the thin winding trail that led from the abyss and the surrounding caves right to the Meeting's doorstep. He didn't see who he was looking for yet, so supposed that she wasn't here yet as there weren't many there at all. A couple of harpies, and what looked like two humans, though he knew better than to assume. Running a long-fingered hand through his hair again, Rafe grinned and walked over to the river, his tri-colour eyes picking up every little detail as he had been trained to long ago.
A stunning head snapped around, and the equally mesmerising male body paused as it emerged from the undergrowth, instantly sensing one of his own in the small crowd gathered. Teal eyes picked out each person and quickly eliminated each until he spotted the dark, brooding male in the shadow of a large boulder. His scent wasn't familiar to the blonde Draconoh, and so Rhage didn't approach, instead heading over to one of the two he knew, waving and grinning at Sabin the Harpy before standing next to his reletively close mate, Rafe. They clapped hands and struck up a quick conversation, and Rhage instantly picked up where the obvious weapons on the other man's person were, though there were bound to be more, better hidden ones. They were both in jeans, but where Rhage was in a tight t-shirt and a long leather duster, Rafe was in a black wifebeater topped with an open button-down shirt.

The firey redhead looked around the clearing as she entered it, dressed in blue jeans and a grey turtleneck. The long twists and curls of her hair descended down her back hanging from a ponytail. She hadnt been to one of these before, or rather she had but not in this location, so all the people except two were new to her. Green eyes raked the clearing until she found Rafe and Rhage engaged in a conversation, her gaze brightening slightly. Making her way over, her stance told people that though she was human she knew what she was doing. The man in the shadows reminded her of a time not so long ago that she wanted to forget. She still bore the scar of that encounter. Shuddering, she waved to Rafe as she met his beautiful eyes, nodding at Rhage, a small smile on her lips. "Hey boys." Her gaze, which turned back to Rafe softened, showing how she felt about him yet it wasnt yet out in the open and they hadnt yet acted as such on those feelings to engage in a relationship. She was armed, but didnt balantly display it.

Making a relieved sound as Sabin lowered her to the ground she stretched her shredded wings with a wince before tucking them back against her back. Her silver irises flashed as she looked around the clearing, her eyes resting briefly on the dark shadow by the rocks, feeling the hatred rolling off him in dark waves. She frowned as a large man waved at Sabin, her head tilting to the side and eyes narrowing. "Who's that?" She asked softly, not wanting to speak to loud in the silence of the night.
Nehvae slowly walked into the place known as the corner, her eyes wary, ready for an attack, her adoptive son Micky balanced on her hip. It was his first meeting, and the boy was literally squirming with excitement, especially as the boy caught sight of the draconoh that they had met not to long ago.
Micky yanked at his new mothers hair and snickered as she winced, pointing across the clearing to where the funny man they had met up on the windy place. He wanted to see him again, even though he knew that Nehvae wouldn't want him to. That didn't stop him from pointing the man out, in hopes that she would cave to his wishes.
Padding into the clearing, Fajar sat down just outside the tree line, his tail wagging slightly, thumping the ground where he sat, rising a thin puff of dirt every time it hit the ground. He glanced over his shoulder at his sister who was just coming up behind him, looking like she wanted nothing more than to leave. Calm down. He told her through their link, It will be good to get new information.
Grunting skeptically in reply to her twins words, Senja sat next to him, her eyes dark. Nudging him with her muzzle, she pointed to the harpy that they had met before in the forest, a scowl darkening her face as she remembered what happened.
Ezra watched as more and more people started to appear from amongst the trees, or in the harpies case from the sky. He reclined against the rock, his eyes dark as he watched, almost invisible in the shadow of the boulder, only his profile showing from the reflection cast by the river. He sensed the presence of another draconoh as the male appeared out of the trees, waving at the harpy and going to talk with a human. He yawned in boredom, this was usually how the meetings started, small clumps of people talking until the small clumps joined together and everyone started mingling and talking before the bloody thing settled into some semblance of order after which information would be shared and all that boring shit. Ezra really didn't know why he even bothered coming here at all when it just pissed him off so much. Maybe it was because he was hoping that someone would recognise him.

With a slight smile as he snapped his wings closed, glancing around and waving back to Rhage when he spotted him. 'That's Rhage, one of my ... contacts. He's Draconoh, so don't underestimate him.' Sabin was hesitant about revealling too much in public, especially as the clearing was starting to fill up. He spotted two young people, a woman and a child, that he knew and gave them a faint smile as he looked over everyone else. The guy in the shadows was not a happy man, and Sabin couldn't help but shoot him a glare, a cler warning to stay away from him and Diova.
As Gabrielle approached, Rafe couldn't help but grin as he turned, pulling her into a hug. 'Hey, did you find who you were looking for?' He asked quietly, before pressing a kiss to her lips with a laughing smile. She had had to go find someone for some reason and had left his hideout hours ago. And, like the typical male, he had fretted the whole time, not fully calm until now, when he held her in his arms.
Saying hey to Gabrielle as she came up, Rhage glanced around again as the two kissed, grinning. Spotting two more he knew, Mickey and Nehvae, he waved, heading over to them as it seemed the woman wasn't letting Mickey out of her reach. 'Hey man, how you doing?' He asked the young male, smiling at his adoptive mum.

Gabrielle hugged Rafe back, stepping right into his arms and wrapping her arms around his neck. She returned the kiss and as she pulled her mouth away adknowledged Rhages greeting with a flicker of her eyes to him. "Yeah it was great thanks Rafe." She stroked down his arms and over his chest, her body up against his. "How was your afternoon?"
A tall, German looking woman walked in the direction that she could hear voices, realising that this would be the meeting she had wanted to attend. Dressed in her usual jeans and baggy jersey, her hands were conceled, her thin body in a defensive posture. Her steps were sure yet steady and slow, her head mimicing the movement that other seeing people did. her sensei had taught her that. As soon as she was within the confinment of people she sensed two Draconahs like her. One was with two others... while the other was alone. Being an alone person herself, she started to feel around in that direction, sensing him, wanting to find out what he was like. Her long black hair hung loosely down her back, hitting her waist as she felt teh branches of the foerest on teh opposite side of the way she had entered she guessed, crackle underfoot.

"You're cute when you get protective." Diova sniggered, catching the glare Sabin sent in the direction of the man in the shadows. "But really, it's unnecessary." She elbowed him in the ribs then leaned into him, her hand running gently through the feathers of his wings.
Nehvae sighed as the draconoh, Rhage came over, she felt slightly more comfortable around him then she had before, it was helped by the way he was with Micky. So she returned his smile, and lowered Micky to the ground, keeping a keen eye on the boy as he tackled Rhage.
Micky almost shrieked with excitement as his mother let him down, he threw himself on Rhage and then ducked behind him before scrambling up his back and yanking his blonde hair, ignoring Nehvae's half hearted and slightly amused scolding.
Sensing yet another draconoh enter the vicinity he shook his head, completely ignoring the glare he received from the male harpy. He didn't hurt innocents, and would never lay a finger on a female. So the male had no reason to worry. Of course, he didn't know that. Which suited Ezra, he preferred people avoiding him. He checked around the clearing again and was irritated to find the new comer to be making her blind way towards him. Yes. He could tell. Glaring at her he shifted away, deeper into the shadows.

The female Draconahs eyes narrowed from behind her dark sunglasses as she snesed him move away. There was something lonely, something distant about the male Draconah that had moved away from her so she stopped, eyes not even trying to search him out not even knowing what 'trees' and 'rocks' looked like. She moved forward again being very careful yet she still managed to stumble, making herself look around as if she could see. Her hands clenched into fists as she thought of how this was a great way to make a first impression. She could sense how close he was now and stopped once again, not wanting to make him back off further. If an introduction was all she got, that was fine with her.

He glared at her as she just kept coming towards him, looking at around in slight disbelief. Why was no one coming to this idiots aid. Surely they could tell it wasn't healthy for her to be near him, surely there was someone who would take it on themselves to stop this woman from following him into the shadow. He could be anyone for gods sake. He scowled as she stopped again, leaning against the rock, his muscles tense.

She could feel the vibes coming off him so didnt make another move towards him, staying where she was. She squeezed her eyes shut as she sensed his disgust of her, thinking that that was how everyone hand reacted to her, like she had a disease, like she was cursed. She would go back out of the shadows if he proved to hurt her or continue to stay sullen. "Who are you?" The words were coated in her thick German accent.

He leaned into her light caress of his wings, his gaze moving back to her after a hesitation. 'I've never seen him before, and I don't trust him. He gives off bad vibes.' Kissing the top of her head lightly, he gave a gesture towards the river, the other end form where the angry Draconoh was. 'Come on, you can see the falls from here. Something I've been meaning to show you.' Sabin gave her a smile, tightening his arm across her shoulders slightly in an almost-hug before leading her over, pointing out the instant drop-off that was just under 100 metres away from where they stood, the thundering of hundreds of gallons of water going down the sheer cliff-face loud even where they stood.
His arms wrapped her up and held her against him, not that she made any move to back away. 'Utterly boring, I was too busy worrying about you to think right.' The admition was made in a way that clearly said that he didn't think she couldn't protect herself, but worried anyway.Pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before smiling at her softly, he glanced over in the direction Rhgae had gone, in time to see a young boy first tackle him, then jump onhis back and clamber his way up. Rafe snorted, barely witholding a laugh, knowing that the Draconoh had probably heard him anyway, proved when he extended his middle finger in Rafe's general direction, but out of sight of the boy, dropping it before he could spot it and copy.
Falling backwards dramatically when Micky tackled him then pausing so the young male could scramble up his back, Rhage couldn't help but laugh, even as he heard his friend doing the same. 'Hey, careful with that! Hair doesn't ...' His voice trailed off as he sensed another person enter the clearing. Well, not a person, one of his kind. But female. Not many female Draconoh's lived outside the small clan groups that were centered mainly in Europe and Britan, so it was a shock to see one here, now. His head snapped around, gaze locking straight on her, walking through the clearing purposefully. Something was off, though, he noticed as he watched her cross the clearing slowly, heading straight for the angry, reentful male of his kind in the shadows, who moved away. It was then that he realised that not only did the two not know each other, but he also clicked on exactly what was wrong with her. Without sight, most people, let alone Draconohs, crumpled, but she was strong, sure in the undergrowth-scattered clearing. His head turned slowly, following her, trying to recall if he had seen her before, but after a moment shrugged and gave up. There were too many females to count that he knew without a good look at her, so he wouldn't bother. For Now.

Smiling, her arm twined around his waist as she followed Sabin, looking at the raging falls with a generous amount of awe. "Fuck, I so want to jump of that thing." He said enthusiastically, her eyes shining. "Of course, I have to wait until my wings heal." She laughed, knowing that he might not believe she was serious. The truth was she loved diving off things only to pull up at the last second, an affinity she seemed to of picked up after her first flight, the more dangerous the better.
Smirking as Rhage was attacked by her adoptive son, Nehvae rolled her eyes, "Careful Micky, you don't want to mar his good looks." It was said sarcastically, as if Nehvae really couldn't care less what her boy did.
Laughing, Micky climbed up onto Rhage's shoulders and covered his eyes, his little hands barely fitting over them. "Can't see me!" He snickered, remembering to keep his voice low even through his excitement.
Ezra glared at the woman in disbelief. Wondering if there was something wrong with her, her blindness didn't count, that didn't cause insanity. She couldn't be serious? Coming up to him when he quite obviously was able and willing to kill her and asking for his name? It would be a shame not to reward her daring though, although he didn't want to encourage her. "Ezrahtormal Devionstrac"

Sabin grinned, knowing that she would love it. 'I'll take you over sometime soon, but not tonight.' He didn't take as much pleasure out of doing that sort of thing as she did, but he loved doing things for her that made her happy, that she enjoyed, so he would do it. For her. But as he said, not tonight. The stalls would be set up soon, and he was here for a reason, needing to pick up some things for his blades, as well as other miscellaneous items like clothing.
Rhage gave a playful gasp as small hands covered his eyes, and he turned, fast but not quick enough to dislodge the child. 'Where'd he go?! Where'd everyone go?!' Spinning back the other way, he stuck out his hands and fumbled around blindly, playing up for Micky with mock astonishment in his voice, and a grin on his face. Reaching up and patting around his head, he deliberately missed the boy's head and shoulders, then his legs and torso when he patted over his shoulders as if looking for him.

Diova smiled up at him, enjoying the reflected moonlight from the river as it played over Sabin's face. She leaned into him with a sigh, loving the warmth that he surrounded her with. She had never been to something like this, there might of been some kind of meeting where she was before but Gideed would never of let her get out of his sight in case she ran off. She wasn't used to being around so many people, her life had been secluded from the beginning, so being surrounded like this was rather unnerving. She was glad that Sabin was around.
Nehvae laughed softly as Rhage played with her son. It was a relief to see the kid smiling, times were hard and she had very little time to actually play with the boy when she had to spend the time searching for food and teaching him how to survive in this harsh environment, she was pleased to be able to relax for a bit. It made her feel guilty, that she couldn't spend enough time with Micky as they both wanted, but keeping him alive was more important.
Micky snickered as Rhage spun around trying to find him. He bit his lip to keep quiet, not wanting to give away his position as the draconoh searched for him.

Gabrielle laughed as she looked over her shoulder at Rhage at the young boy. Turning back to Rafe, she pressed a kiss to his cheek and nuzzled his neck, loving the way he held her. "I missed you Rafe. Its nice to have people worry about me for once, no matter how mean and rude that may sound."
Catya jeard his name and her head cocked to the side gently before she nodded. She could feel his anger and emotions rolling off him and stepped back to give him his space. "Well.. Ok then Ezrahtormal." Her German accent was heavey especially as she said his first name and with that she turned with her chin up and walked away from him, to where she could hear the palying of others, one of them the other Draconah she had sensed. She walked calmly over before stopping, not wanting to intrude.
