Twisting his head, he pressed his lips against the hand on his face briefly before returning to the task at hand, not liking the amount of blood that was coming from her. 'I don't have the time or the stuff to numb this, but it won't hurt as much as the antiseptic if you know what to expect.' Lifting the wickedly sharp needle in one completely coposed hand, he wiped the area with another alcohol wipe before making small, neat stitches across the narrow but deep wound, steeling himself against any noise of pain she made. This had to be done, and he couldn't stop halfway through because he couldn't bear to hurt her. Quickly finishing that side, Sabin got her to turn her arm so he could do the smaller exit wound, in total only having to do 8 stitches, six on front, two at back. Putting the needle to the side, he took the cloth and gently washed the blood off, again, before taping a small gauze pad over both sides and bandaging the whole thing, though not intensively. Just enough to keep everything together. Packing up the used wipes and needle, he tucked them into a small disposable bag that was inside the kit and lifted his head, eyes going straight to the bullet graze on her neck. With one hand, he tilted her head back so he could get a good look at it, before he shook his head. 'Nothing I can really do about that, but clean and cover it.' After saying that, he did so, cleaning it before firmly fixing a thinner, smaller gauze pad onto it and leaning back, tucking the rubbish into the disposable bag with the rest of it. Sitting back, his eyes lifted to her face, and they were guilty, saddened, angry, a whirlstrom of emotions that could only just be identified at times, others unable to be spotted clearly as he stared at her. 'God, Di, I'm so sorry ...'

She didn't answer him, to busy eying the gleaming needle as he lifted it, really not liking the look of the sharp needle. She didn't flinch as it entered her arm, knowing it would make it worse. She did hiss however, before gritting her teeth to stop herself from making another noise. She was relieved when he had finished, watching as he taped gauze pads over both sides and bandaged her arm. She tilted her head up and to the side as he inspected the wound from the bullet, not answering him as he fixed another gauze pad onto her then disposed of all the rubbish. Watching the emotion in his eyes, the guilt and anger and pain, Diova shook her head at his words. Moving forwards so that she could wrap her good arm around his neck and kiss him. "Don't be, I'm alive aren't I? Thanks to you. And a couple of wounds are better than the alternative."

While a voice in his head continued to go on about why it was his fault, Sabin kissed her back, soft but conveying all of his worry and love for her. Breaking the kiss after a mment, he rested his forehead against her and brushed his fingers over her cheek, accepting the wisdom of her words without arguing. 'I was so scared for you ... when I realised he was here ... I though I would be to late.' He hadn't been able to think, just act in the primitive, territorial way that was always so close to the surface. Now, he gathered her close, and held her tight, not wanting to let his demons get the best of him, and loving that she made that so easy, kept him focused on the here-and-now.

Snuggling into his chest, her eyes closed with a sigh, his warmth and strength wrapping themselves around her, making her feel safe again. "But you weren't to late, and you saved me." Reaching up she cupped his jaw with her hand before kissing him again. She didn't want him to let go of her, which was lucky she guessed because it seemed that he wasn't in the position to let go of her either.

After a moment, he shifted to his knees and first pulled off her clothing before doing his own and lifted her, slipping into the cool waters of the spring and taking her with him, cradled in his arms. With slow, gentle movements, he washed the blood of her, careful not to get the gauze wet, using a soft soap that had been hidden in a small crevice in the side of the pool. The whole time, he held her with one arm, keping her tight against his chest, not trusting himself to let her go at that moment. Though ... 'I'll need to go back to get the deer I brought down, and get rid of ... the body.'

Letting him strip her and take her into the cool spring, Diova sighed in relief, leaning into him as he washed the blood off her. Her breathing slow and even as she was held by him. Her silver irises rose at his words, meeting his eyes, trying to hide her concern. She didn't want him to leave, not yet, but Gideed's body had to be disposed of, and blood attracted the Zombies. She nodded finally, sighing again, this time resignedly. "Can I..... dispose of him?" She asked after a while. He might of killed him but she found that she needed to get rid of the body herself, just so that she knew he was truly dead.

Closure. That was the one word that came to Sabins mind at her question, and he nodded instantly. There was nothing worse than not being able to fully prove o yourself that something had happened, and this would be her closure on that dark time in her life, the time that had led her straight to him. Brushing a kiss over her forehead softly, he shifted back so he could get to the blood that covered his chest and arms, rinsing his neck and face for good measure to make sure it was all gone. He had to clean his blades as well, before he went back to his prey, and with a resigned sigh he lifted her back out of the pool, setting her on the edge and pulling himself out, grabbing a pair of towels that were set to the side. He had suprised himself with the fact that he hadn't been hit, but then again Gideed had obviously been in a rage and forgotten what training he had. It didn't help that the only weapon the male had come with was a gun. Towelling first her, then himself off, he pulled on his jeans, socks and shoes, not bothering with a shirt as he spread his wings to dry off. Sabin handed her her clothes, before lifting her to her feet with a hand. 'Dress, love. You have a body to dispose of, and I have blades to clean, as well as a deer to fetch.'

Standing up after Sabin had placed her on the side of the natural pool, Diova let her mate dry her before pulling her clothes on, flinching slightly as the material rubbed against her wound. As if she didn't have enough to worry about. Stepping up to Sabin again, Diova took his hand, wanting to feel him. "Can we dispose of the body first?" She asked him softly, "I know it sounds stupid but I don't want to be left alone with him again, even if he is dead."

Lifting her hand and pressing it to his lips briefly, he nodded. 'It's not stupid, not after what he did.' Leading her out of the bathing chamber and through the hallways until they reached the main room, he stopped her with his hand in hers. 'I'll move it to the entrance, and you can get rid of it. There's not much we can actually do.' That said, he moved forward again, dropping her hand so he could lean ver the body, hooking the fingers of one hand in the waisband of the male's pants, and the other in the collar of his shirt. Hefting the dead weight with a very un-elegant grunt, he hauled it through the room to the entrance, dropping it on the ledge that overhung the giant drop that was the Abyss and motioning her to step up with a hand.

Diova nodded at Sabin's words, explaining what he was going to do, she followed him silently as he lifted the dead body and hauled it out of the main room and out onto the ledge. Stepping forwards at Sabin's gesture, Diova pressed her foot against the small of Gideed's back and shoved him off, leaning forwards, her wings spread for balance, as she watched the dead body fall. After it was out of sight, Diova stepped back and wrapped her arms around Sabin, sighing heavily in relief, feeling like a horrible weight had just lifted of her shoulders and she had only just realised how heavy it had been.

Sabins arms instantly enfolded her, and he held her close, watching the edge of the Abyss below them for any sign of life. There was none, se he quickly turned and pulled her gently inside, out of sight of anything that would show up at the scent of fresh blood. Though he would much rather stay there, with his mate in his arms, he knew he had to move and clean up the room and his blades before going back out to finish his hunt, and he told her so, his hand stroking lightly over her hair.

She sighed against his chest, a feeling of warm relief coming with Sabin's arms as he wrapped them around her. Much to soon he pulled back although she could see his reasoning. Once they were back into the main room, Diova frowned and left Sabin, picking up the gun that Gideed had dropped and examining it. She had never seen a gun up close really, had never used them, and she turned it around carefully, examining the trigger.

Seeing what had caught her eye, Sabin followed close behind her and plucked the gun out of her hands almost as soon as she picked it up, flicking the safety on before handing it back to her. 'Have you ever used a gun before?' The question came from the way she was examining it, almost as if she had never seen one up close before. He would get rid of when she was done with it, he told himself, and he picked up the dagger he had thrown, a slight look of dismay on his face as he examined the blade. There were enough chips in it that it would take him hours to bring it back to proper condition. As he didn't have the time then and there, he grabbed a cleaning cloth and started to wipe the drying blood off it, trying not to remember it was not just Gideeds blood, but Diovas also.

Glancing at him as he flicked a switch back, Diova examined it more closely, flicking the switch back and forth a couple of times before continuing her examination of the deadly weapon. "I don't think I like guns." SHe said, passing it over to Sabin. "It's almost cheating. And no, I haven't even seen one this close actually, I was kept away from them.... for good reason I guess, it doesn't take a genius to figure out how to work one. "

Taking the gun from her with one hand when it was offered, Sabin grinned at her deduction of the weapon as he shoved it in his belt and kept cleaning the short blade in his hand, thinking of how to dispose of the thing. He could let it follow it's owner, but there was always the risk that a Zombie could get it. The best option would be to sell it, at the upcoming meeting. Decided, he spoke again, a touch of amusement in his voice. 'They can be very helpful, but I do prefer close contact fighting myself. And you're right, they're simple to use, though few people expect te kickback they have.' Finally finished the knife, he shoved it back in its sheath and pulled out one of his swords, settling himself on one of the couches next to where he had been standing, and continued to clean.
